Real estate transaction condition inspections

This inspection aims to deliver impartial information regarding the state of a detached house or property to both the buyer and seller.

The inspection is conducted in accordance with the generally accepted inspection guideline KH 90–00394. It is based on experience, sensory observations, and non-destructive testing methods. Internal faults and damages within structures cannot be detected unless there are visible damages on the surface. If the building has risk structures, such as wooden walls starting from below the floor surface, a structural opening may be performed if necessary. The structural opening is conducted to examine the condition of the structure and is carried out only with the property owner’s consent.

A condition inspection report is compiled, which also includes guidelines for the property’s maintenance.

By special arrangement, we also use mold dogs to locate potential growths. Properly trained mold dogs can detect mold without damaging surfaces, including dried and dead growths that humans cannot see or smell. We carry out this in collaboration with the Homekoira Turku service.
